July 7 - Flowers of Anchorage

July 7 - We went to Anchorage and stopped at Resolution Bay. We were able to see Sleeping Beauty mountain and several others across the Bay. As we walked through town I could not resist taking all these flower pictures. They have purple and yellow ones hung on lamp posts all over downtown. They say that the flowers are so vibrantly colored here because of all the sunlight and because the sun is not so hot. So it doesn't bleach the color out of them.
