July 8 - we hiked part way up Lazy Mountain. It overlooks the Matanuska River. We only made it part way because the path is very steep and only wide enough for one person. At this time of year, the weeds and flowers are very high. You only get to see this view occassionally when you come out of the overgrowth. We also did not have our mosquito spray with us. I am anxious to try this again when some of the greenery is gone. It should be a tremendous view!

July 8- Lazy Mountain
July 8 - we hiked part way up Lazy Mountain. It overlooks the Matanuska River. We only made it part way because the path is very steep and only wide enough for one person.
