July 7 - We attended the Forest Festival at Girdwood. We missed the parade, but they had tons of vendors in their park. Lots of clothing, jewlery, pottery, artwork, food and face/hair painting (a favorite with the kids). We spent a couple of hours wandering around the booths. They had live entertainment also. As you can see, if the spirit moved you, you could just get up and dance to the music!! As we walked from the parking lot to the town park, we paused at the bridge. We are always amazed as we stop at the rivers here and see how crsytal clear the water is.
