Wildlife Along the Glenn - March 9, 2008

The first site we saw on our drive up the Glenn Highway was a pair of eagles in the trees right beside the road. We pulled into a turnout and took a couple of pictures before they flew. we watched them fly above the river and it seemed that they flew for miles before they landed again.

We ended our day by driving south of our valley on the Glenn Highway. We saw two moose far back from the road. I hope you can pick them out among the brush. It is hard to imagine how BIG they are until you see them up close.
